The old Seed Mill, at the back of Carmichael's the grocers in 1974 and last month. Thirty years after barn conversions were all the rage in Edinburgh comes Coldstream's answer. 30 years being about the right amount of time required for new-fangled ideas to filter into the Merse.
Speculation that it might take another thirty years to finish this conversion seems perfectly reasonable.
